I need you to be my Warrior Chief today
I need you to lead me into the battle of life
And empower me with your bravery and courage.
it is so nearly your anniversary of leaving us
And we have lost another great mother figure –
Respected, revered, loved, constant –
Our Queen.
And in our mourning for her Majesty,
I feel your absence
In my world acutely.
So, I’m calling my Viking Voyager to my side
To be with me as I journey today,
To lift me up
And help me to be strong,
And send strength to that other family,
The Royal family
Through this next period of change
And adjustment.
