I have been writing poetry since 1980, in response to events, images, moods, places – as a different way of expression and in some instances that creative discipline of making sense of a complex situation through words. Sometimes they rhyme, or have rhythm, sometimes they don’t … and the poems that flow through me are those that somehow write themselves.
The images that accompany are mine – either photographs or paintings.
If there is a collection – such as the three pandemic poetry collections or ‘voyage’ , they’ll have a separate page and a consistent image … otherwise , the images, like the words, will create themselves and be published as blog posts.
